Can a Christian have a demon?

COVENANT

Mat. 10:7-8

Can a Christian have a demon?

The answer is YES; For it is written in Luke 11.36 (KJV) IF your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark the whole shall be full of Light, as the bright shinning of a candle doth give thee light. The Lord says "IF" you’re WHOLE body be full of light! Which means that it is possible for a body to have light but not be FULL of light. Jesus, Himself stress' the point even further by repeating it again using different words: "having no part dark" the whole shall be full of Light." The Lord Jesus Christ states plainly that the physical body of man can have darkness and light. It is ONLY full of Light when there is NO darkness there. Jesus says YES; a Christian can have a demon!
Brothers and Sisters, it is also very noteworthy to be aware that Luke Chapter 11 is what I call the deliverance chapter. It is the Chapter where the pious religious people, Pastors of the day accused HIM of casting out demons by the power of the devil, satan, AKA Beelzebub. Jesus then, outlines the steps of standard deliverance and exorcism for Christians. What is the cause of a Christian having demons? The cause is sin in our lives as outlined here and in through out the bible.
I pray that in a few more months I will have the book completed that you may know the truth for the truth is what sets you free. To see things that I have written you can click here or go to http://lulu.com/covenantwarriors.

Main Objection:
The most common verse sited of why a Christian CANNOT be possessed by a demon is "...what communion hath light with darkness?" This verse has been taken out of context in an effort to twist the truth of God's Word into what they believe, instead of believing what God's Word says.
Below are the verses in question: 2 Cor 6.14-18(AV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. We immediately see the subject and point of this passage are the relationships of God's people! What (agreement) FELLOWSHIP does justice have with injustice? How can the light be accepted with the dark? What agreement does Jesus have with Satan? The believer has no part or is not like minded with the unbeliever. So how can we with our bodies being the temple of God be in FELLOWSHIP with the IDOLS that unbelievers worship and believe. The Lord entreats us to come out and be separate! Two cannot WALK together unless they are in agreement. You cannot serve two masters or you will hate the one and love the other. People in this type of relationship must come into the light or go into the darkness. It is a proven fact in the body of Christ that those who have fellowship with those who practice sin in various areas of their life eventually fall completely. The loss of light; our eternal life with Jesus Christ is very real. Watch and pray, forsake not the assembling of yourselves together. The Word is telling us that we, Christians must have friendships with other Christians; to be built up, to help us not to sin. Are we then to have fellowship with unbelievers? No, we are not to have FELLOWSHIP but to witness with our lives and our words. For we know that in 2 Cor 5-6 The Holy Spirit teaches us that we are the Ambassadors of Jesus Christ and that we have a ministry of Reconciliation! Simply put, unbelievers are not supposed to be our BEST FRIENDS! We should be going to movies with them and out to dinner only as a means to win them for Christ. Even then we should be very careful to not be caught up in their dirty jokes and gawking of the opposite sex,as well as what type of movies, etc. we are seeing with them. If you touch the unclean, as the Lord tell us above, then you too shall become unclean. This “touching” is not only in the physically sense but also the spiritual sense. When you come into agreement by laughing at their foul jokes and gawking in unclean ways. You have “Touched” the unclean in the spiritual sense. You have now allowed evil to be present with you.
Here is a verse that I place before you for consideration: Rom 7.19-23 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil, which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
What Paul is saying here is that even though he is a Christian and that God dwells in him. Sin is still dwelling in his body! If light cannot dwell with darkness then how can sin still be in his body? Sin is a living being not only an action on our part. The above states that the action and being of sin brings about evil that is in him. This agrees with what the Lord told Cain and us in the beginning, Ge 4:7 (ASV) If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? And if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door; and unto thee shall be its desire; but do thou rule over it. Sin and evil are living being’s not inanimate items or actions. It is our actions of sin that allow the demons to cause us the desire to do more sin thus allowing more unclean spirits into our bodies or as Paul wrote it to have “evil present with me”.
Friends, do not have fellowship with the throne of iniquity. For satan works by a law; the Law of Sin, Ps 94:20.
Go here for the seven door ways that satan uses to gain entrance into your body, soul and spirit.
May God Bless and Keep you, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.
