Multiple Personality or Dissociative Identity



Here is a Short Teaching on MPD
I will be writing a full teaching on this subject soon. Please bare with me. I am very busy. We must first understand how Multiple Personality or Dissociative Identity comes about. There are two ways that I know of and have experienced.
  1. Through very severe torment and fear: both mental and physical. An example would be being whipped with a horse whip, sexual abuse, and then being buried alive and keep there for a period of hours.
  2. The demons themselves pull off pieces of the soul. This requires deep hurt on the emotional level (soul). The Word tells us that we are a tripartite being: body, soul, and spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ).
    Our physical bodies get cut by physical abuse and our souls get cut by our sin and our emotional hurts.
    Psalms7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
    Since these “alters” or soul parts are actually pieces of the physical body ; “owner’s” soul they are human. They are not demons. Therefore, as has been tried by many DMs (Deliverance Ministers) they cannot be cast out.
    In fact, attempting to do this causes great harm to that particular soul part and also to the other soul parts that are present. It will delay the healing and the deliverance. It is only by the grace and mercy of God that the broken person will ever come back to see the DM who has made such a grave error! The soul parts are very sensitive to their existence! Trust is of the utmost importance! Since the soul parts are human they must be “saved” as you would in any deliverance. God desires none to perish. The alters are each bound by demons and are totally in the “dark.” They “do not know how to” merge nor can they while the demons keep them bound. Nor in many cases do the alters have a desire “to go back to where they came from in the owner’s soul.”
    Once saved they have sudden knowledge and once delivered, they desire to go back, they know how, and simply go back to the soul when a prayer is said for this to happen. It is awesome when this occurs! The alters, no matter how many times or how long I have spoken to them. Have always said “I love you, Shane and I am going to miss you. Thanks for helping me and the owner.” Then we pray and they go back to the owner’s soul. The owner normally feels the attributes of the particular soul part that is merge and sometimes (on the Older alters) feel a little light headed as the merge occurs. There is no doubt to the owner or to the DM that the merge has occurred.
