Deliverance Prayers

Warfare - 1. Military operations between enemies: war; also, an activity taken by one country to weaken or destroy another. 2. struggle, conflict.

WAR - 2: the art or science of warfare 4: a struggle between opposing forces or for a particular end.

The above is exactly what we are in! It is difficult for some to conceptualize the unseen war that rages around us. It is easy for us to see the bombs bursting in air, the helicopters dropping in new troops, carrying off the dead and wounded. Many have been our parents, our children, and ourselves. The wars we know are between countries, presidents and are over in a single generation in most cases. The real war spans generation after generation after generation the effects of this war are not really seen by the next generation. Each succeeding generation looking only at itself and for itself ignores the defeats and sees the imagined conquest; the perceived good that has been accomplished.

It is much more difficult to see a WAR that has been going on since the beginning! Is not Gen. 3:1-6 a struggle by opposing forces for a particular end? Man/woman made in the image of God against the serpent, the devil? Is not the subject the tree of knowledge of good and evil opposing? It is obvious that the serpent is trying to persuade the woman to eat of the tree. Is this not for a particular end? So we see that the first war is man (flesh) against serpent, the devil, Rev 12:9.

In Gen. 3:7 we see the first effect of our demise SELF- conscious. The second effect is FEAR( which is the opposite of faith), Gen. 3:10. The third effect is SELF-protection, Gen. 3:12-13. Our eyes were taken off of God and placed on SELF. Is this not the same thing that satan himself did, Ezekiel 28:13-17? The sad story: we have inherited the same sin that satan has, it is called SELF, Pride.

We battle our flesh (self), satan and the angels that fell with him.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

The Word of God says it is warfare and we are to wage it!! As the elect of God not only are we the soliders but we are also the targets! Therefore the whole armor of the Father must be worn at all times. Being soliders of Christ in these last days we will have casualties: some from the seperation of the body of Christ, which The Father has begun; some because they are Christains, and others because they have a special call on their life for the last days.

Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Dan 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come

Wars consist of numerous battles before the war is won. Even the Angel had to get help from the Archangel Michael! It is the same in personal spiritual warfare!
